The year 2023. The 24th year for the Loudspeaker Industry Sourcebook (LIS). 2023 is also the year designated by the International Commission for Acoustics (ICA) as the "International Year of Sound," it is by no means turning out to be the year any us expected.

With LIS 2023 (now available in print and online), we start with some especially timely articles—"Global Supply Chain Risks: Trade Wars, Pandemics—What’s Next?" by Rosemary Coates and "What The Pandemic Should Teach Us" by Barry Vogel, Executive Director of Audio & Loudspeaker Technologies International (ALTI).
LIS also offers some insightful industry reports from Guy Hammett and James Kirby of Futuresource Consulting; an article entitled “Connectivity, Streaming and Other Technologies: Why Portable Speakers Won’t Miss a Beat in 2023," by Kian Rayment of SAR Insight; and an important message in “手机伋理软件” by Adrian Weidmann, Managing Director of StoreStream Metrics.
